AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING AND INSTALLING OF
4,500 FEET OF UNDERGROUND CABLE N0. 12, 600 VOLTS,
SOLID, OKOLITE, OKOPRENE, OR EQUAL FOR UNDERGROUND
FIRE ALARM CIRCUIT AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $12,000100
FOR MATERIAL AND LABOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby au-
thorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and enter
into a contract for the furnishing and installing of 4,500 feet
of underground cable No. 12, 600 volts, solid, okolite, okoprene,
or equal for underground fire alarm circuit,
SECTION 2. That the cost of said material and labor shall
not exceed the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars, said
sum to be paid from the Fire Department Construction
Fund.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
