AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE SIX 2 -YARD CAPACITY DUMP TRUCKS FOR USE OF THE
STREET DEPARTMENT OF,, THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AT A
PRICE NOT TO EXCEED $15,600.00, INCLUDING VALUE OF
TRADE -IN EQUIPMENT OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for.,-and pur-
chase Six 2 -yard capacity Dump Trucks for use of the Street
Department of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to trade -in six (6) City -owned
Dump Trucks on the purchase price of the aforesaid Dump Trucks.
SECTION 3. That the total price of the Dump Trucks to be
purchased, plus the trade -in equipment, shall not exceed the
sum of Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred ($15,600.00) Dollars.
SECTION 4. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
