AN. ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUN! OF $640.55 TO PAY
THE HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL EXPENSES OF J. C. BROOKS AS
A.RESULT OF INJURIES SUSTAINED FROM A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
WHILE ON DUTY FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Six Hundred Forty Dollars and
Fifty -Five Cents ($640.55) is hereby appropriated to pay the
hospital and medical expenses of J. C. Brooks as a result of
injuries sustained from a traffic accident while on duty for
the Little Rock Police Department.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby au-
thorized and directed to issue the City's warrant in the sum
of Six Hundred Forty Dollars and Fifty -Five Cents ($640.55)
for said hospital and medical expenses.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
