AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQTESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND LEASE
TO THE HIGHEST AND BEST BIDDER THAT PART OF BLOCK 8,
WATKINS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS, LYING EAST OF THE ROCK ISLAND RAIL-
ROAD RIGHT -OF -WAY (SOUTHEAST CORNER OF 28TH AND GEYER
STREET), OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for and lease
to the highest and best bidder that part of Block 8, WATKINS
ADDITION to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
lying East of the Rock Island Railroad right -of -way (Southeast
corner of 28th and Geyer Street) , owned by the City of Little
Rock.
SECTION 2. That the aforesaid lease shall be subject to
ratification by the City Council after it has been negotiated
by the Board of Public Affairs.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
