ORDINANCE N0. 9933
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 5829 AS AMENDED
BY ORDINANCES 5906 AM 6325 OF THE ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, FIXING THE NUMBER OF
MEMBERS ON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE MUSEUM OF
NATURAL HISTORY AND ANTIQUITIES, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The number of members on the Board of
Trustees of the Jad=am Museum of Natural History and
Antiquities is hereby increased from seven (7) to nine (9).
The members shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by
two— thirds of the City Council. The term of office of each
member shall be six (6) years. Upon death, resignation or
disqualification
ny trustee, his successor shall be elected
to fill out the unexpired term of the trustee succeeded.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
