AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS REMAINING IN
THE LIBRARY ANNEX BOND FUND TO THE PRESENT LIBRARY BOND FUND;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS':, in 1937 the City of Little Rock issued $25,000.00
of Bonds for constructing an addition to the Library; and
WHEREAS, all of said Bonds have been paid, and the sum of
$40.36 remains to the credit of said Library Annex Bond Fund; and
WHEREAS, since that day additional bonds have been issued
for the purchase of land to be used for an extension of the Library;
and
WHEREAS, said Bonds are now outstanding;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to transfer the balance of $40.36 remaining in the Library
Annex Bond Fund to the present Library Bond Fund for the purpose of
being used in paying off said Bonds.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
