AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $221,500.00
TO PAY TO THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AS ESCROW AGENT UNDER PROVISIONS OF AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PULASKI COUNTY JUDGE AND THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS, AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE
NO. 9880, TO BE USED IN REMOVING THE PULASKI COUNTY
JAIL FROM THE RIGHT -OF -WAY OF THE RIVERFRONT DRIVE
TO ITS NEW LOCATION IN BLOCK 186, ORIGINAL CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, SAID SUM TO BE PAID FROM THE HIGHWAY
CONSTRUCTION FUND, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Two Hundred Twenty -One Thousand
Five Hundred ($221,500.00) Dollars is hereby appropriated to pay
to the First National Bank of Little Rock, Arkansas, as escrow
agent under provisions of an agreement between the Pulaski County
Judge and the Board of Public Affairs, authorized by Ordinance
No.,9880, to be used in removing the Pulaski County Jail from the
right -of -way of the R iverfront Drive to its new location in Block
186, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby author-
ized and directed to issue the City's warrant in the sum of Two
Hundred Twenty -One Thousand Five Hundred ($221,500.00) Dollars
to the First National Bank of Little Rock, Arkansas, escrow agent,
for removal of said County Jail, which sum to be paid from the
Highway,Construction Fund.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
-and-approval.
