AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE FEES TO BE COLLECTED BY
THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT FOR GARBAGE COLLECTION WITH:rI4
A ONE -HALF MILE RADIUS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
FIXING THE TIME FOR THE COLLECTION THEREOF, AMENDING
ORDINANCES 7387, and 7496, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BB IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AREA NSAS:
SECTION 1, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 7387 is hereby amended'
to read as follows:
For the purpose of this Ordinance, the calendar year is divided
into four quarters, the first quarter covering the months of February, March
and April; the second quarter covering the months of May, June and July; the
third quarter covering the months of August, September, and October; the fourth

quarter covering the months of November, December, and January.
SECTION 2. Section 1 (2) (3) of Ordinance 7387 as amended by
Ordinance No, 7496 is hereby amended to read as follows:
A fee of Four Dollars and Fifty Cents (44.50) per quarter or
fractional part of a quarter, payable in advance is hereby levied for each
single family dwelling or multiple unit dwelling•
SECTION 3. All ordinances and /or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed; unless the provisions of this ordinance are put
into effect immediately, the public peace, health and safety of the citizens of
the City of Little Rock will be adversely affected, therefore, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist,and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
