ORDINANCE NO. 9911
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 60 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
WHERE_ S, parties claiming to be the owners of more than two
thirds in assessed value of real property included within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that
an improvement district be established for the purposes hereinafter
set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties desiring
to be heard and has ascertained that said petition was signed by more
than two thirds in assessed value of the owners of real property
within said territory; now, therefore,

for the purpose of doing the necessary grading, draining, curbing,
guttering and paving of the following part of the following street
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
WEST THIRD STREET from the west boundary of Broadway
to the east boundary of Cross Street,
in order to widen said street approximately seven (7) feet on the
north side thereof and approximately seven (7) feet on the south side
thereof, with present drive -ways or curb cuts to remain in their

present lateral dirr.ension; said work to be done in such a manner and
with such materials as the commissioners to be elected for the said
improvement district shall deem for the best interest of said district,
and that the cost thereof over and above any aid received from any
agency of the Federal or City government be assessed and charged upon
the real propwty above described, provided the liability of each lot
or tract of land shall be limited to its assessed benefits.

Said district shall be known as Street Improvement District
605 of Little Rock, ;rlcansas, and C. C. Collie, Jr.,
Louis Rosen, and E. F. Jennings are hereby named commissioners, who
shall compose the Board of Improvement for said District.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
