AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $10,782.77 TO
PAY TO THE MISSOURI- PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY AS CON-
SIDERATION OF THE PURCHASE OF A PART OF BLACK 186 OF
ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, TAE NORTHERLY PORTION
OF BLOCK 80, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND A PART
OF THE NORTH HALF OF BLOCK 34, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, TO BE USED AS A RIGHT -OF -WAY FOR THE RIVERFRONT
DRIVE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Ten
Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Two Dollars and Seventy -Seven Cents
($10,782. 77) to pay to the Missouri- Pacific Railroad Company as
consideration for the purchase of a part of Block 186, ORIGINAL
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; the Northerly portion of Block 80, ORIGINAL
CITY OF LITTIE ROCK; and a part of the North Half of Block 34,
ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to be used
by the City as a part of the right -of -way for the Riverfront Drive.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby in-
structed to issue the Cityts warrant in the sum of 610,782.77 to
the Missouri- Pacific Railroad Company, said money to be paid from
the Highway Construction Fund,
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
