ORDINANCE N0. 9865
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO
SIGN A PETITION WHICH IS NOW BEING CIRCULATED TO
ANNEX TERRITORY SOUTH AND WEST OF THE CITY, INCLUDING
BOYLE PARK, TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR 0 THER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, residents of an area South and West of the City
of Little Rock are now circulating a petition to annex said
territory to the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, it is desirous that Boyle Park be brought into
the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ME
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to sign a petition for annexation of
territory lying South and West of the City of Little Rock,
including Boyle Park, to the City of Little Rock, now being
circulated by citizens of Pulaski County in that vicinity.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
