9859ORDINANCE NO. 9859 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 9850; AUTHORIZ- ING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND ENTER INTO A LEASE - PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR 9 TUDOR AUTOMOBILES FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $12,500.00, PLUS TRADE -IN VALUE OF 9 USED TUDOR AUTOMOBILES OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 9850 is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and exe- cute a lease - purchase agreement for nine (9) Tudor Automobiles to be used in the Police Department of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. SECTION 3. That the cost of the lease - purchase of the nine (9) Tudor Automobiles shall not exceed the sum of $12,500.00, plus nine (9) used Tudor Automobiles owned by the City of Little Rock. SECTION 4. That part of the rental on the said lease- purchase agreement shall be made in the form of nine (9) Tudor Automobiles, listed as follows: 1953 Chevrolet 1953 Chevrolet 1953 Chevrolet 1953 Chevrolet 1953 Chevrolet 1954 Chevrolet 1954 Chevrolet 1954 Chevrolet 1954 Chevrolet Tudor, Tudor, Tudor, Tudor, Tudor, Tudor, Tudor, Tudor, Tudor, Motor Mo for Motor Motor Motor Motor Motor Motor Motor No. LAA621501 No. LAA63007 No. LAA611292 No. LAA611886 No. LAA 6112 6 No. F54Z140693 No. F54Z91456 No. F54Z62711 No. F54Z112469, which shall be traded in on the rent of the automobiles which the City may lease- purchase. SECTION 5. That said lease - purchase agreement is not to exceed a period of eighteen (18) months, and the rental payments shall apply on the purchase price if the City of Little Rock de- sires to purchase said automobiles at any time during this lease agreement. SECTION 6. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall .-2r be in full force and effect from and after its passage and ap- proval.
