AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE ONE AUTOMOBILE FOR USE OF THE CITY COLLECTOR'S
OFFICE AT A SUM NOT TO EXCEED 61, 400.00, PLUS TRADE -IN
EQUIPMENT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and pur-
chase one automobile for use of the City Collector's Office
of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. That the purchase price of said automobile
shall not exceed the sum of One Thousand Four Hundred
($1,400.00) Dollars, plus trade -in of a 1949 Chevrolet Coupe,
Motor No. HAA 344068, Serial No. 311 JC 13555, owned by the
City of Little Rock, said sum to be paid from the General Fund.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval..
