AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS ,FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE 48 RAINCOATS AND HATS, 37 PAIRS .OF HIP BOOTS,
AND 2 PAIRS OF KNEE BOOTS FOR USE OF THE STREET
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AT A COST NOT
TO EXCEED $500.00, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and pur-
chase 48 raincoats and hats, 37 pairs of hip boots, and 2 pairs
of knee boots for use of the Street Department of the City of
Little Rock.
SECTION 2. That the cost of said clothing shall not ex-
ceed the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
