ORDINANCE No. 10 058
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO STREET INPR0VEIENT DISTRICT
NO. 607 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WEEMS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority or
more in assessed value of the real property located within the terri-
tory hereinafter described, which property is contiguous to Street
Improvement District No. 607 of Little Rock, Arkansas, a duly created
and existing improvement district, have filed a petition praying that
said territory be annexed to said District for the purposes herein-
after set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties desiring
to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was signed by
more than a majority in assessed value of the owners of real property
within said territory; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the following described property in the City of
Little Rock, County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit:

Lots 11 to 20,
Lots 11 to 20,
Lots 1 to 10,
Lots 1 to 102
Lots 11 to 20,
All in Lincoln

Lnclusive, of Block 5;
inclusive, of Block 6;
inclusive, of Block 11;

inclusive, of Block 21;
inclusive, of Block 22;
Park Addition to the
Rock, Arkatnsa s ;
be and the same is hereby added to and annexed to Street Improvement
District No. 607 of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the Commissioners of
said District shall proceed to make the improvements petitioned for
by grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and paving, in such a
manner and with such materials as the Commissioners of said Street
Improvement District No. 607 shall deem to be for the best interest
of said annexed territory, the following part of the following street

PIERCE STREET from the south line of "H" Street
to the north line of Woodlawn Street;
and the cost thereof over and above any aid received from any agency
of the federal or city government shall be assessed and charged upon

SECTION 2. That said annexed territory shall be known as
Annex No. 1 to Street Improvement District No. 607 of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
SECTION 3. That the Commissioners of Street Improvement
District No. 607 of'Little Rook.. Arkansas, shall make the assessment
of benefits for said improvements on the lots, blocks or parcels of
real property in the territory herein annexed on the same basis as
if said territory were included in the original District, and shall
file said assessments with the City Clerk.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
