AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO TAKE THE
NECESSARY STEPS TO CONDEMN CERTAIN LANDS TO BE USED
BY THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT FOR.LAND FILL PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
. SECTIW Lo That the City Attorney of the City of Little Rock is
authorized and directed to take the necessary steps to condemn the following lands
to be used by the Sanitation Department for land fill purposes:
Pt. SE4 SW4 See* 15- IN -12! more definitely and as follows# to -wit:
A tract of 5 acres out of the SE4 Sf4 Sec. 15- IN -12W., Pulaski Coantyp
Arkansas, described by meets and bounds as follows:
Begin at a point of intersection of the South boundary line of the
Right of Way of the L.R. & H.S. W RR as now surveyed and located upon and
over the said SE-Z' SIB of Said Section and the W boundary line of said
Quarter Section, run thence in a Northeasterly direction along the South
boundary of said Right of Way of L.R. & H.S. W Ry to the pte where said
boundaryline of said Right of Way intersects the South boundary line of
the Right of Way of the C & M RR upon and over said Quarter Section,
thence continue in a Northeasterly direction along the South boundary line
of said Right of Way of the C & N. B,y* to the point of intersection of
said East boundary line of the said C & M Rye and the North boundary line
of said SE-14 SW4 of said Section 15, thence Rash along said North boundary
line of said Quarter Section to a point on said North boundary line 47
rods Bast of the Northwest corner of said Quarter Sections thence South
parallel with the West boundary line of said Quarter Section 20 rods;
thence due West parallel to the North boundary line of said Quarter Section
a distance of 47 rods to the West boundary of said Quarter Section to a
point on said West boundw y litre 20 rods South of the Northwest corner of
said SE4 S114 of said Section 159 thence North along said West boundary
line to where it intersects the South boundary line of the aforesaid
Right of Way of L.R. & H.S. W. Ry. being the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The purchase and condemnation charged for the above
described lands shall be paid for out of the Garbage Plant Construction Fund,
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed$ and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
