10064ORDINANCE NO. 100,061 AN ORDINANCE ELIMINATING SPECIAL PARKING ZONES; PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATIONS, PARKING TIME, AND FEES CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH PARKING METERS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BIB IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby eliminated all bank, pas- senger, 10- minute and loading zones, and meters shall be installed in those spaces. Firms that have already paid for those special parking privileges shall be reimbursed by the City. SECTION 2. Meters installed in banking zones shall be cov- ered during banking hours and uncovered for use at other times. The banks shall be required to pay the City of Little Rock for. the metered zones during the time they are covered, based on the national average income of $70.00 per meter per year. SECTION 3. Parking shall continue to be prohibited in present "no parking" zones. SECTION 4. In 30- minute parking zones, the meter charge shall be five (54�) cents for 30 minutes, or one (1C.) cent for 6 minutes. SECTION 5. In one -hour parking zones, the meter charge shall be five (5�) cents an hour, or one (1o,%) cent for 12 min- utes. SECTION 6. Tao -hour parking zones on Cumberland Street shall be eliminated, and parking time shall be limited to one hour. SECTION 7. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
