AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SECOND PARAGRAPH OF SECTION
301, CHAPTER 3, ORDINANCE NO. 7888; PROVIDING THAT THE
FIRE CHIEF AND HIS ASSISTANTS BE GIVEN POWER. TO ENFORCE
ALL -THE PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO..7888 AND FOR SUCH
PURPOSE HAVE THE POWERS OF A_POLICE OFFICER; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
SECTION 1. That the second paragraph of Section 301,
Chapter 3, Ordinance No. 7888 is hereby amended by adding at
the end of said second paragraph the following sentence:
"The Fire Chief and his assistants are hereby given
power to enforce all the provisions of this Code as
set forth in Ordinance No. 7888, and for such purposes
shall have the powers of a police officer."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
