AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE ONE (1) ADDITIONAL POSITION OF
SERGEANT IN THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT, ESTAB-
LISHING THE SALARY THEREFOR; AMENDING IN PART, SECTION
I.4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 9006 AS AMENDED; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That there is hereby created one (1) additional
position of Sergeant in the Little Rock Police Department, whose
salary is hereby established in accord with the provisions of Ordi-
nance No: 9006, as amended, of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That Section 14, of Ordinance No. 9006, as
amended, which refers to twenty -three (23) positions of Sergeant,
be hereby increased to twenty -four (24) positions of Sergeant, by
amending said part of Section 14, to read as follows:

SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith, are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
