AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCES NOS. 7234 AND 9024 IN THEIR
ENTIRETY, ABOLISHING THE POSITIONS OF EXECUTIVE SECRETARY TO
THE MAYOR AND ASSISTANT SECRETARY TO THE MAYOR, AND CREATING
A NEW POSITION OF ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY TO THE MAYOR, ESTAB-
LISHING THE. SALARY THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
I H BY THE- CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARBAIi =,
SECTION 1. That Ordinances Nos. 7234 and 9024 be entirely repealed and the
positions of Executive Secretary and Assistant Secretary to the Mayor hereby be
abolished and the position of Administrative Secretary to the mayor hereby be
created.
SECTION 2. The person to fill such position shall be appointed by the
Mayer and shall perform such duties as may be designated by the Mayor.
SECTION 3. The Administrative Secretary to the Mayor shall receive a salary
of not less than $3,000900 per year, which salary may be, increased by the direction
of the Mayor from time to time as he may see fit to the sum and not to exceed $3,600.00
per year.
SECTION 4. That Section 12 of Ordinance No. 9006 is hereby abolished.
SECTION 5. That the Title, Classification and Salary of the Administrative
Secretary be made retroactive to March 26, 1956, at 8:00 A. M,
SECTION 6. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
its passage and approval.
