ORDINANCE NO. 10,104
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 610 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than two
thirds in assessed value of the real property located within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that
an improvement district be established for the purposes hereinafter
set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties desiring
to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was signed by
more than two thirds in assessed value of the owners of real property
within said t�er:Pitory; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement district
embracing the following property in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
to-wit:
Lots 4 to 7, inclusive, of Blocks 25 and 28;
Lots 4 to 11, inclusive, of Blocks 26 and 27;
West 161 feet of Lots 8, g, 10, and 11 of Block 28;
All in Lincoln Park Addition to the City of Little Rock;
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, of Block 2 of Fausett!s
Subdivision of the City of Little Rock;
North 150 feet of Lot 16 of the Subdivision of the
W2 of the NW1 of Section 6, Township 1 North,
Range 12 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas;
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and paving,
in such a manner and with such materials as the commissioners to be
elected for said improvement district shall deem to be for the best
interest of the district, the following part of the following street
in the Citycf Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Lee Avenue from the east line of Hayes Street
to the east line, extended north, of Lot 1,
Block 2, Fausett's Subdivision,
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from any
agency of the federal or city government, be assessed and charged
upon the real property above described; provided, the liability of
each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its assessed benefits.
Said District shall be known as "Street Improvement District
No. 610 of Little Rock, Arkansas," and Carl Neely, Jr., John P.
Kinney, and Marvin H. Ereman are hereby named commissioners, who
shall compose the Board of Improvement for said District.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
