AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE ONE AUTOMOBILE FOR USE OF THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE
DEPARTMENT AT A SUM NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00, PLUS
TRADE -IN EQUIPMENT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby au-
thorized and reques -ed to advertise, take bids for, and purchase
one automobile for use of the Little Rock Fire Department.
SECTION 2. That the purchase price of said automobile
shall not exceed the sum of Two Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars,
plus trade -in of a 1955 Mercury 2- dOZV,License No. X -13, Motor
No. 55SL- 73825, owned by the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
