AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PURCHASE CERTAIN
ITEMS FOR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS , AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and purchase
the following items for use by the various departments for a
period of three months, beginning April 23, 1956:
Meat for animals at the Zoo not to exceed $ 2000.00
Feed for animals at the Zoo not to exceed 850.00
Gasoline, I , tires, tubes
and the repairing and retreading of tires
for various departments.
