BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. That Sections 925 and 927 of Brickhouse & Castle
Digest are hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. That it shall be unlawful for any person or per-
sons to give a false fire alarm by telephone, fire alarm signal
system, or any other means.
SECTION 3. That it shall be unlawful for any person or per-
sons to tamper with, in any way, or molest any of the boxes, poles,
wires, or any other apparatus of the Little Rock Fire Alarm Signal
System for malicious or mischievous purposes, or any other purposes.
SECTION 4. That any person or persons violating the provisions
of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall
be fined not less than Twenty -Five ($25.00) Dollars nor more than
One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars, or shall be imprisoned not less than
ten (10) days nor more than ninety (90) days, or both, upon convic-
tion for violating the provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 5. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed. That unless the provisions of
this ordinance are placed in effect immediately, the public health,
safety, and welfare of the citizens of Little Rock shall be affected
adversely; therefore, an emergency is declared to exist, and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its pass-
age and approval.
