AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 611 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than two
thirds in assessed value of the real property located within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that
an improvement district be established for the purpose hereinafter
set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all the parties
desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was
signed by more than two thirds in assessed value of the owners of
real property within said territory; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement district
embracing the following property in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
to -wit:

All of Blocks 2, 5 & 6;
North 141.25 feet of Block 9;
Part of Block 9, described as follows:
Begin at the Southwest corner of Block 9,
thence East 100 feet to point of beginning;
thence North 141.25 feet; thence East 50 feet;
thence South 141.25 feet; thence West 50 feet
to point of beginning;
Part of Block 9, described as follows:
Begin at Southwest corner of Block 9;
thence North 141.25 feet; thence East
100 feet; thence South 141.25 feet; thence
West 100 feet to beginning;
East one -half (E2) of Block 10;
All in Manufacturer's Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas;
All of Blocks 7 & 8, Joseph Gachot's Acres
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;

described as follows: Begin at Northwest corner

described as follows: Begin at a point where
the north line of the South one -half Northwest
quarter intersects west line of Railroad right -of -way
of Missouri Pacific Railroad; thence West
158 feet along North line of South one -half of
Northwest quarter; thence South 854.5 feet;
thence East 658 feet to west line of Missouri
Pacific Railroad right -of -way? thence North
30 degrees 27 minutes West along said right -of-
way to point of beginning;
for the purpose of paving, in such a manner and with such materials
as the commissioners to be elected for said improvement district
shall deem to be for the best interest of said district, the fol-
lowing parts of the following streets in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, to -wit:
EAST 13th STREET from the west line of the Missouri
Pacific right -of -way to the west property line of
Block 8 of Joseph Gachot's Acres to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas;
BAXTER STREET from the South property line of East 13th
Street to the center line of the Missouri Pacific
Railroad spur right -of -way;
REYBURN STREET from the center line of the Missouri
Pacific Railroad spur right -of -way to the North
property line of East 15th Street;
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from
any agency of the federal, county, or,city government, be assessed
and charged upon the real property above described; provided, the
liability of each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its
assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as "Street Improvement District
No. 611 of Little Rock, Arkansas, "and Fred J. Nowlin ,
Gretchen Hamilton and Fred J. Venner are
hereby named commissioners, who shall compose the Board of Improve-
ment for said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
