AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND DEDICATING LANDS AND PARCELS OF
LANDS TO -THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,. ARKANSAS, FOR PUBLIC USE AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL'OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.

following described lands and parcels of lands situated in the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, to wits

Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 2, Block
358, Original City of Little Rock,•.Arkansas; thence
east along the original north line of said Lot 2 and
its eastwardly extension a distance of 97.7 feet; thence
�. on a deflection angle to the right of 88 degrees 57
minutes a distance of 4.2 feet to the south line of
Lincoln Avenue as now occupied and the point of
beginning; thence continue southwardly on the same
course a distance of 47.6 feet; thence northwestwardly
in a straight line to the point lying on a line
parallel to and 47.7 feet east of the west side of
said Lot 2, and 28.5 feet south of the north line of
said Lot 2* thence north parallel to the west side
of said Lot 2 a distance of 28.5 feet to the north

in a straight line to the point on the west line of
said Lot 2 which is 17.8 feet south of the northwest

of said Lot 2 a distance of 17.8 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 1104 square.feet, more or less.

is the northwest corner of the intersection of Cross

measure west along the south line of Block 358 a distance
of 5 feet; thence on a deflection angle of 440 261 to the
right a distance of 85.3 feet; thence on a deflection angle
of 900 001 to the right a distance of 106.25 feet for tha
point of beginning; thence continue on the course a distance
of 13.75 feet,•thence on a deflection angle of 900 001 to
the right a distance of 17.1 feet; thence southwardly along
the original centerline of Cross Street produced a distance
of 19.4 feet; thence in a straight line 30.9 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 329 square feet, more or
less.

From the northwest corner of Lot 2, Block 358, Grid ;inal
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, measure east along the
north line of said Lot 2 a distance of 97.7 feet; thence
on a deflection angle-of 880 571 to the right and parallel
with the west line of said Lot 2 a distance of 4.2 feet,
more or less, to the present south line of Lincoln Avenue
for the point of beginning; thence continue south along
the same cour ^e a distance of 132 feet to the south line
of said Lot 2; thence on a deflection angle of 900 001
to the left a distance of 6.1 feet; thence on a deflection
angle of 450 34' to the left a distance of 117.45 feet to
the present, south line of Lincoln Avenue; thence north-
westwardly along the present south line of Lincoln Avenue
a distance of 101 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning, containing 6465 square feet, more or less.

From the southwest corner of Lot 2, Block 358, Original
City of Little stock, Arkansas, measure east along the
south line of said Lot 2 and its easterly extension a
distance of 103.8 feet; thence on a deflection angle of
450 34' to the left a distance of 167.95 feet for the
point of beginning; thence on a deflection angle of
900 001 to the left a distance of 20 feet; thence on
a deflection angle of 460 36, to the right a distance
of 13.9 feet; thence on a deflection angle of 1330 24'
to the right a distance of 33 feet; thence on a deflection
angle of 900 00" to the right a distance of 13.75 feet
to the point of beginning, containing 364 square feet,
more or less.
Section 2. Said lands and parcels of lands described in Section 1 of
this ordinance are hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, as and for the said City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and the same are hereby dedicated for public use as a street and are
available for highway purposes. I

Section 3. It being deemed necessary for the best service, convenience;
welfare and safety of the traveling public that the said lands and parcels
of lands be improved by the construction of a suitable street and such
other facilities as are necessary, and that the traffic conditions at
the present and those in the foreseeable future are such that the immediate
construction of such street is-in the best interest of the traveling public
and the public generally that an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after
its passage and publication;.and all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
