AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT, FOR THE LEASE - PURCHASE OF FOURTEEN
(14) GARBAGE TRUCKS WITH BEDS FOR USE IN THE GARBAGE
AND SANITATION DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK]
TO TRADE -IN THE VALUE OF W4MON USED GARBAGE
TRUCKS WITH BEDS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOjk-sr.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized and
directed to advertise, take bids for, and execute a contract for the
lease - purchase of fourteen (14) garbage trucks with beds to be used
in the Garbage and Sanitation Department of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That part of the rental on the said lease- purchase
contract shall be made in the form of
used garbage trucks
with beds, listed as follows:

which shall be traded in on the rental of the garbage trucks with beds
which the City may lease - purchase.
SECTION 3. Sealed bids on this lease purchase plan will be received
UP until 1:30 P.M., June 27th, 1956. The sealed bids will be opened at
1 :45 P.M., June 27th, 1956, at which time the Board of Public Affairs of
the City of Little Rock shall enter into a contract for the lease purchase
Plan, subject to appropriation of funds by the Little Rock City Council.
The said lease purchase plan shall be for a period of three (3) years
with option to pay off before maturity.

SECTION 4. That the rental payments shall apply on the purchase
price if the City of Little Rock desires to purchase said trucks with
beds at any time during this lease contract.
SECTION 5. The garbage trucks and beds to be leased- purchased
shall be on written specifications furnished to the Purchasing Agent
by the Director of the Garbage and Sanitation Department.
SECTION 6. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
