&'1L.hEAS, it is necessary that a qualified person check
the operation of heating plants for the City located at Fire
Department)at iviacArthur ParK and Dunbar recreation Center, at
nights, on the week -ends, and holidays, and
YVH�RGAS, the Utility iv.an (plumber) in the Building
iv.aintenance Department performs these duties during regular
working hours and is experienced and qualified in the operation
of these plants, and is willing to perform this work on an
overtime basis which will be more economical than employing an
additional person fulltime and,
NO44 THEhEFORE , BE IT OtiDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of Seventeei
Dollars and Fifty Cents (4117.50) per week as payment of salary
to the Utility ivian (plumber) in the Building rr:aintenance Depart-
ment for overtime work in connection with the operation of the
heating plants located at Fire Department.at ;iacArthur Park,
and Dunbar recreation Center, and shall be paid in the same manner
as other salaries of City employees.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective from November 1,
1956 through April 30, 1957.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
