S-`CT: JN 1. That all Police;rnen or Firemen injured in the
line of duty shall be paid their full salary during the time
of recuperation from such injury, and the City shall also
pay any and all medical bills and expenses incurred.
S;CTLON 2. it shall be the duty of the Department Meads
to give a full and complete report to the .v,ayor and City
Council at its next regular slated Meeting of the officers
injured and the circumstances.
LCTLO[1 3. Ali !✓olicemen or riremen injured in the line
of duty shall not sign a release of any type that concerns
payment of salary, medical or hospital bills, until authorized
to do so by the i..ayor and the City Council.
SCTIOv 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
being necessary for the general welfare, health, and safety of
the public, an emergency is hereby declared, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage
and approval.
