AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION I OF ORDINANCE
NO. 10,244
WHE iH'AS, it has been determined that it will not be necessary
to collect ten per, centum (10 1,6) of the assessment of benefits in
Street Improvement District No. 611 each year and a collection of
six per centum (6,`0) of the assessment of benefits each year will
be sufficient to meet the yearly requirements on the district's
indebtedness for said improvement.
NO14v THEHE20HE, BE 12 OiDAINED by the City Council of the
city of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 10,244 be amended
to read as follows:
"Section 1. That said several blocks, lots and parcels of
real property in said District be assessed according to the assessment
list for said improvement district as the same now remains in the
office of the City Clerk, or as said assessment list may later be
amended, and that six per centum (6°1o) of the assessment on each of
said blocks, lots and parcels shall be collected by the County Collector
with the first installment of general taxes becom_tng due in 1957 and
annually thereafter with the first installment of general taxes until
the whole of said local assessment shall be paid."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
