All ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY SOUTH OF ASHER AVENUE AND
WEST ROOSEVELT ROAD BETWEEN PEYTON STREET AND THE MISSOURI
PACIFIC RAILROAD IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 5420 AS AMENDED AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from various classifications to "I" Light
Industrial District: Property south of Asher Avenue and Roosevelt Road
between Peyton Street and Missouri Pacific R. R., being property bounded
by the city limits on the south, the alley between Lewis and Peyton
Streets, West 32nd Street, Lewis Street, a line 1401 south of Asher
Avenue, Pine Street, West 30th Street as extended between Pine and
Woodrow Streets extended south of Roosevelt Road; Woodrow Street, West
Roosevelt Road and Missouri Pacific R. R. to the city limits; except a
parcel bounded by West 30th Street if extended, Valentine Street city
limits on the south and Martin Street.
SLGTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from "B" Residence and "D" Apartment
Districts to "F" Commercial District: Blocks Eleven (11) and Twelve (12),
Dickinson's Mill Addition and property bounded by the west line of lot
four (4), Magnolia Grove Addition, West Roosevelt Road, Brown Street, and
West 30th Street extended.
SECTION 3. That the Little Rock Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No.
5420 as amended and the map referred to in Section 2 thereof entitled
"District Map" be, and they are hereby amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in
Sections 1 and 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
