OF LANDS LOCATED IN RUM COUNTY, ARKANSAS, SAID LANDS BEING

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That certain real property hereinafter described and which
is located in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and is adjacent and contiguous to
the West and South boundaries of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
which lies in Sections 19, 203 29, and 30, Township 2 North, Range 12 West;
Sections 22, 23, 211, 26, 27, 28, 33, 34, and 35, Township 2 North, Range 13
West; Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 1113 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 211, 25, 26,
27, 28, 3113 35, and 36, Township 1 North, Range 13 West; Sections 6, 15, 16, 17,

other structures, and said territory should be annexed to the present City of
Little Rock for the best interests of said territory and the best interest of

and East corporation line of Cammack Village to the point of beginning, containing
35.1 square miles more or less.
SECTION 2. That the area described in Section 1 hereof is shown on a map
bearing a certificate of approval and adoption by the Little Rock Planning Com-
mission, dated September 20, 1956, and entitled "Map of the Area Proposed to be
Annexed to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas" , which map accompanies this ordi-
trance and said map and all explanatory, matter thereon are hereby adopted and / �
in the office .PJ. Lhe.ty C13,a copy thereof shall be filed of record in the
Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Aransas.
SECTION 3. That in the event that a majority of the qualified electors at
the election mentioned in Section 2 of this ordinance approve of said annexation
to the City of Little Rock of the territory herein described in Section 1 of this
ordinance, the Mayor, City Clerk, City Attorney* and other City officials are here-
by instructed and directed to take any and'all appropriate steps necessary and
desirable to complete the annexation of said lands and territory, or any part
thereof, to the City of Little Rock, in conformity with the prmvisions of
Arkansas law.
SECTION 4. That the establishment of regular boundaries to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and the bringing into the City of Little Rock of the
above- described improved territory now lying beyond the North, West, and South
boundaries of the City limits is hereby found to be vital to the public peace,

health, and safety and an emergency is hereby, declared to exist; and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
