ORDINANCE 10. 1
An Ordinance Amending Seetion 7 of Ordinance No.
7012 of the Ordinances of the City of Little Rook,
Arkansas, Providing for the Revision of the Zones
Regulating the Rates for Taxicab Service in the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas; Declaring an Emer-
genoy; and for Other Purposes.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1: Seetion 7 of Ordinance Yo. 7012 of
the Ordinances of the City of Little Rook, Arkansas
is hereby amended to read as follows: "The zone
rate for taxicab service in the City of Little Rook
shall not exceed 25¢ for taxicab service within and
between each of the zones as described and defined
in the revised plat attached hereto and made a part
hereof, a certified copy of which plat shall be kept
on file in the office of the City Collector ".
Section 2: Because many eitizens of Little
Rook.--are now residing in areas which were not included
in the original plat attached to and made a part of
Ordinance 7012; and, because these citizens are en-
titled to know what rates are being charged by each
taxicab operator for their particular areas; an
emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordi-
nance being necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health and safety, the same shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage.
