AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A DEED OF DEDICATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CHICAGO, ROCK ISLAND AND
PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, FOR A PUBLIC ROAD AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
,.SZMON 1. That the Dedication Deed executed by the Chicago,
Reek Island and Pacific Railroad Company, in which the land dea-

cribed as:
A part of the Northeast Quarter (NF}) of the
Northwest quarter (N*) of Section Thirteen (13), Town-
ship-One (1) North, Range Twelve (12) West, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
A strip of land sixty (60) feet in width, being
thirty (30) feet in width on each side of the center line
described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at a point in the south line of East Roose-
velt Road (East Twenty -sixth Street), and on the north line
of the Chicago, Rook Island and Pacific Railroad Company's
roperty, said point also being five hundred seventeen
517-0) feet south, measured at right angles to the north
line, and one thousand nine hundred ninety -one (1,991.0)

to last described oourse,,and along said center line of
the, proposed street, a distance of•one thousand eighty -
seven (1,097.0) feet, more or less, to the northerly right
of way line of the levee of the Little Rook - Pulaski Drain-
age District No. 2, said above described tract of land
containing one and five tenths (1.5) acres, more or less,
is dedicated to the public for use as a.publio street, and the same
is hereby accepted and made a part of the public street system of
the City of Little Rook, Arkansas, and shall be known as Dugan Street.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flirt herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be is
