ORDINANCE N0. -109470
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FOUR HUNDRED, EIGHTY -FIVE
DOLLARS AND FORTY CENTS ($4$5.40) OUT OF THE STREET FUND TO PAY
FOR MEDICAL BILLS OF ASA STEWART FOR TREATMENT OF INJURIES WHICH
HE RECEIVED WHILE ON DUTY IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT DURING THE
1956 RESURFACING PROGRAM, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Four Hundred, Eighty -Five
Dollars and Forty Cents ($485.40) is hereby appropriated out
of the Street Fund to pay for the medical bills of Asa Stewart
for treatment.of injuries which he received while on duty in
the Street Department during the 1956 resurfacing program.
SECTION 2. That the medical bills which are to be paid
out of the $485.40 are as follows:
Arkansas Baptist Hospital ------- - - - - -- $425.40
Drs. Newbill & Johnson ---------- - - - - -- 50.00
Healy & Roth (for ambulance service) - -- 10.00

SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
