10494i .f ORDINANCE NO. 10,494 AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE TWO TWELVE FOOT ALLEYS IN BLOCK 62, BRADDOCKtS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ABUTTING IMMEDIATELY ON LOTS 9 AND 102 AND 7 AND 8. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCKjARKANSAS: Whereas, a petition was filed with the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 25th day of March 1957 asking the City Council to vacate and abandon two alleys desig- nated on the PLAT of Braddockts Addition to the City of Little Rock, now appearing of Record in Deed Record 11AB11 at page 331 in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas which lies between Lots 9 and 10 and Lots 7 and 8 of Block 62 of Braddockts Addition. Whereas, after due notices as required by law, the council has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the alleys herein above described have heretofore been dedicated to the public use as alleys; have not been actually used by the public generally at any time since the filing of the PLAT on June 20, 1901; that no other person except petitioners own any property abutting either of said alleys; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the aban- donment of said alleys. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby re- leases, vacates, and abandons all rights, together with the rights of the public generally, except for the rights and needs of public utilities including the Little Rock Municipal Water Works for ingress and egress to maintain any existing utility lines, including water lines in said area and except for the rights and needs of the City of Little Rock for ingress and egress to con- trol drainage in said area, in and to the alleys designated as follows: Two twelve foot alleys running East and West (132 feet) abutting Lots 9 and 10, and Lots 7 and 8 Block 62 Braddockts Addition. Said property lies between 19th and 20th Streets and between Elm Street and Magnolia Avenue, SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified, by f 2 - i. the City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of Recorder of Pulaski County and shall be recorded in the Deed Records of said County. SECTION 3.
