AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE ONE (1) DUMP TRUCK FOR USE IN THE STREET DE-
PARTMENT, WITH TRADE -IN OF ONE (1) 1948 CHEVROLET
DUMP TRUCK, X -154, AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED SEVEN
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($7,000); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is
hereby authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for,
and purchase One (1) dump truck for use in the Street Depart-
ment of the City of Little Rock, with trade -in of One (1)
1948 Chevrolet dump truck,X -154, at a cost not to exceed
Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,000.00).
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
