AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 9060 BY SUBSTITUTING THE NAME OF
ROWLEY UNITED THEATRES, INC., AS LESSEE IN LIEU OF THE NAME OF
RAZORBACK DRIVE -IN COMPANY E PRESENT LESSEE NAMED IN SAID ORDINANCE,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES:
WHEREAS,by Ordinance No. 8811 the Board of Public Affairs was
authorized to execute a certain lease between the City of Little Rook
and Rowley United Theatres, Inc., and said lease was executed the
26th day of December, 1952s and
WHEAEAS,by Ordinance No. 9060, The Razorback Drive -In Company
was substituted as the lessee in said lease with the privilege of
re- assignment of said lease to Rowley United Theatres, Inc., and
WHEREAS the City of Little Rock has received written notice of
such ro- assignment by the Razorback Drive -In Company to Rowley
United Theatres, Inc.,
NOW) THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the assignment by Razorback Drive -In
Company to Rowley United Theatres, Inc., of
the lease presently owned by Razorback Drive -In
Company under authority of Ordinance No 9060 is
hereby approved.
SECTION the Mayor and City Clerk are directed to
substitute the name of Rowley United Theatres,
Ine.T in lieu of Razorback Drive -In Company
upon their records of the lease agreement
ji6V existing upon the property described as:
*All that part of the NJ of the SEJ of Sec.11,
TV. is No. R -12 -W, lying West of Barber Avenue
and No. of East 21st Street in said city
containing 12 acres more or less, commonly
described as the NW Corner of 21st and Barber
Avenue.
SECTION 3 All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances at present
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
