ORDINANCE NO. 10,524
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SALARY OF ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE
SECRETARY IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 8534 AS AMENDED;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the position of Executive Secretary and Finance
Officer is being abolished at a saving of $3700.00 for the remaining
part of 1957, and
WHEREAS, the Assistant Executive Secretary can assume the
duties of that position,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The salary of Assistant Executive Secretary in
the office of the City Clerk is hereby fixed and established on a
calendar monthst basis on a salary range of $355.00 to $375.00.
SECTION 2. The salary range shall be on a schedule as
previously established for other employees in compliance with Ordinance
No, 8663. The employee shall be paid on a two week pay period basis
as provided for other employees by Ordinance No. 9436 and the amount
paid for said two weeks shall be equal to one -half of the monthly
salary as authorized herein.
SECTION 3. That Ordinance No. 034 as amended, is hereby
amended to establish the salary of Assistant Executive Secretary as
stated in Section 1 of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be retroactive
to May 1, 1957•
