AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE AND TAKE BIDS FOR THE RESURFACING OF.175
BLOCKS OF STREETS, MORE,OR LESS,AW THE.OITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BEAT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,

authorized and requested to advertise and take bids for the resurfacing
of 175 blocks of streets, more or less, in the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. Plans and specifications for this resurfacing
program shall be available in the City Engineer's office for use in
bidding on said contracts not later than May 51, 1957 The Board of
Public Affairs hereby reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed and these streets to be resurfaced
constitute a hazard to the people of the City of Little Rock using them,
therefore, an emergency is hereby declared and this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
