AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING THE PLATTED ALLEY
IN BLACK 34, TNDUSTR?AL PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE F1OCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of Little
Rock, Arkansas, on the lat day of ?m13 , 1957, asking the City Council
Ai &nd abaddtm the alley designated on the Plat of Black Sit, retrial
Park ,Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, said Plat appearing of
record in Platbook No. 2 at Page 162 in the office of the Circuit Clerk & Ex-
Officio Recorder for Pulaski County, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS., after due notice, as required by law,the Council has at the
time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard
on the question and has ascertained that the alley hereinabeve described has
heretofore been dedicated to the public use as an alley; that said alley has not
actually been used by' the public generally for period of at least five years
subsequent to the filing of the Plat; that, in fact, said alley has not been
used as an alley by the public for the last fifteen years; that all owners of

consent to such abandonment; that said owners are Southern Imrestment Company,
Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Price, and the Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation, the
petitioners; and that the public interest and welfare will not be adverso3y
affected by the abandonment of such alley;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE-IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Little Rock,
Arkansas:
SWTi ION 1. That the City of Little R ock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates abdnabandohs iU bets rights, together with the rights of the public
generally except for the rights and needs of public utilities, including the

and needs of the City of Little Rock for ingress and egress to contra drainage

SECTION 2. That a copy of this ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-
Officio Recorder for Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records
