10592t r ORDINANCE NO. 10,9592 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11 OF ORDINANCE NO. 9127 PROVIDING FOR THE PLUMBING INSPECTOR TO BE CERTIFIED AS A MASTER PLUMBER BY THE ARKANSAS STATE BOARD OF PLUMBING DIVISION UNDER ACT 200 OF 1951 AND ALSO BY THE BOARD OF EXAMINERS OF THE PLUMBERS FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, A ANSAS: SECTION 1. That Section 11 of Ordinance 9127 is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 11. Administration and Enforcement. To provide for the administration and enforcement of this ordinance, there is hereby created the position of Chief Plumbing Inspector, who shall also be the Chief Gas Inspector, and as many assistants as are needed to discharge the duties of his office. Said Inspectors shall be chosen by the Civil Service Commission in the manner provided by law; said Inspectors shall be registrants under this ordinance with ten years practical experience in the business of plumbing, and shall be cettified Master Plumber by the Arkansas State Board of Plumbing Division under Act 200 of 1951 and the Board of Examiners of Plumbers for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. The salary of the Chief Plumbing Inspector and his assistants shall be fixed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor. The Chief Plumbing Inspector or his assistants shall have the right of entry, during usual business hours, to inspect any and all plumbing in buildings while in the performance of their duties." SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
