ORDINANCE NO. 10,805
AN ORDINANCE AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
MATERIALS AND LABOR TO REPAIR A D -6 CATERPILLAR TRACTOR
FOR USE BY THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT IN GARBAGE DISPOSAL
WORK AT THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL PLANT; APPROPRIATING THE
SUM OF TWO THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTEEN ...DOLLARS AND
NO CENTS ($2,716.00); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Wilkerson Diesel Service has submitted the low
bid of Two Thousand Seven Hundred Sixteen Dollars ($2,716.00)
for the repair of one (1) D -6 Caterpillar Tractor for use by
the Sanitation Department in Garbage Disposal Work at the
Garbage Disposal Plant in the City of Little Rock,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The contract for the purchase of materials and
labor for repairing one (1) D -6 Caterpillar Tractor for use
by the Sanitation Department in Garbage Disposal Work at the
Garbage Disposal Plant for a total consideration of Two Thousand
Seven Hundred Sixteen Dollars ($2,716.00) is hereby awarded to
Wilkerson Diesel Service.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the Garbage
Plant Construction Fund the sum of Two Thousand Seven Hundred
Sixteen Dollars ($2,716.00) payable to Wilkerson Diesel Service
in payment of the said contract price; the City Manager and
Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the necessary warrant for the payment of the same.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
