AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR MAMTOBY RETT1t�ENl
FROM ACTIVE SKP'LOYMENT UPON ATT IMM THE AGY OF
SlnY -TWO (62) FOB ALL MEMBERS OF THE FIRS DE-
PARMW OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
AND TO OTM PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAUM BY THE BOARD OF RS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
SECTION 1. From and after passage and approval of this
ordinance retirement from active employment for all members,
including department heads$ of the Fire Department of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, shall be mandatory upon attaining
the age of sixty -two (62) years; provided, however, such re-
tirement shall not be mandatory for members now employed by
the Fire Department until such time as such employee: by reason
of length of service, is eligible for retirement.
SB+CTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict heraith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
