AN ORDINANCE CREATING 00 (1) ADDITIONAL POSITION
OF SERGEANT IN THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT,
PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES THEREOF, ESTABLISHING THE
SALARY TREMOR; AMENDING IN PART SECTION 14 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 9006 AS AMENDED; AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 14 There is hereby created effective May 1, 1958,
one (1) additional position of Sergeant in the Little Rock
Police Department, the salary for which is hereby established
in accord with provisions of Ordinance No. 9006, as evilded, of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The duties shall be that of bailiff in both
the Municipal Criminal and Traffic Courts, call the court docket
and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Chief
of Police.
SECTION 3. That Section 14 of Ordinance No. 9006, as
amended, which among other things provides for twenty -four (24)
positions of Sergeant is hereby amended in part to provide for
twenty -five (25) positions of Sergeant as follows:

SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
