AN ORDINANCE DECLARING TYLER STREET BETWEEN "H" AND
"I" STREETS TO BE A "ONE -WAY" STREET; DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ZOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Z`Z'i0N 1. When signs-are erected giving notice thereof, I
vehicular traffic on Tyler Street from "H" to "I" Streets, in-
clusive, shall proceed in a Southbound direction only.
SECTION 2. Any person operating a vehicle in violation
of provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined any sum
from Two ($2.00) Dollars to Two Hundred Fifty ($250.00) Dollars,
or shall be imprisoned for a time not to exceed twenty (20) days,
or both fined and imprisoned.
SECTION 3. Because traffic conditions at the present time
are hazardous to property and persons of the City of Little Rock
and particularly school children attending school in the imme-
diate area above affected; and because the creation of the one-
way street described above will correct this condition, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist; and this ordinance is
found to be necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety and shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
