AN:ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF PLAZA TERRACE
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
wHER W, upon the petition of a majority of the real estate
owners of the hereinafter described area affected, who also �con-sti-
tute a majority of the total number of owners and own more than
one half of the acreage affected and hereinafter described, and
after due notice of the hearing on said petition for the time and
in the manner prescribed by law, the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, did on the 14th day of May, 1958, enter an order annexing
the hereinafter described property situate in Pulaski County,
Arkansas, to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired within which any
remonstrant could institute proceedings in the Circuit Court of
f.
Pulaski County, Arkansas, to prevent said annexation, and there
have appeared no remonstrants to said annexation; and
WHEREAS, said hereinafter described lands are contiguous to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the following described property located in
the County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to wit:
All that part of Plaza Terrace Addition located in the
NEB{ SWIJ NEB Section 1, Township 1 North, Range 13 West,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, which has not been previously
annexed to the City of Litte Rock except the North 25 feet
of the dedicated right-of-way of West Third Street located
immediately South of and adjacent to the South lot lines of
Sots 8 to 14, inclusive, of said Plaza Terrace Addition,
be and the same is hereby accepted as annexed to and made a part
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that said territory shall
henceforth be assigned and attached to the Fifth Ward of said City;
and that the residents therein shall henceforth be considered as
citizens of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
