BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section Two (2), LAYOUT AND DESIGN, of Ordi-
nance No. 10807 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 2. LAYOUT AND DESIGN
The design, layout and plans for the construction,
reconstruction, alteration and /or replacement of all
sidewalks, curbs, driveways, both private and commercial,
shall conform and be constructed according to the design,
layout, plans and details sbown and provided by the
STANDARD DETAILS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS,
CURB AND GUTTERS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, which are
as follows:

All such work shall conform with the following:
1. Radii shall be a minimum of five (5) feet and
a maximum of fifty (50) feet.
2. Maxima curb dut shall be thirty (30) feet at
the sidewalk line, but may be increased one (1) foot in width
for each five (5) feet of frontage on the street in excess
of sixty -two (62) feet. But in no case shall driveway at
this point exceed forty (40) feet."
SECTION 2. It lee beet► determined trat there is an
imediate need for comprehensive standards and specifications
for the construction and reconstruction of sidewalks, driveways,
both private and commercial, and curbs and gutters on public
property, all for the public safety; and that the enactment
of this Ordinance will accomplish this purpose; now therefore,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance
being necessary for the preservation of public peace, health
and safety shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage and approval; and further, all ordinances and parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
