ORDINANCE NO. 10,817
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY
Y DOLLARS ($750.00) FROM THE HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION FUND PAY -
ABLE TO ROSE, MEEK, HOUSE, BARRON & NASH AS SPECIAL LEGAL
FEES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 10,062 passed March 12, 1956)
the City of Little Rock employed Rose,Meek, House, Barron and
Nash as special counsel to assist in the handling of litigation
pending in the Pulaski County Circuit Court wherein the City of
Little Rock was condemning portions of Lots 4, 5 and 6, Block
79, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, owned by the Hotel
Marion Garage Company for the purpose of acquiring the right-
of-way for the Riverfront Drive; and
WHEREAS, the litigation is now concluded and said firm of
attorneys has submitted its statement for said services in the
amount of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) as payment in
full therefor; and
fees;
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to pay said legal
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the Highway
Construction Fund the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00)
payable toose, Meek, House, Barron and Nash as legal fees for
services rendered as special counsel in the condemnation of Lots
4, 5 and 6, Block 79, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for
the purpose of acquiring the right -of -way for the Riverfront Drive.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage.
