AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS
OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS, AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN
ANNEX NO. 1 TO CURB AND GUTTER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 10. 615 OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, more than a majority in value of the property holders
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in
Annex No. 1 to Curb and Cutter Improvement District No. 615, organized
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing and guttering, McAdoo
and "I" Streets and Shamrock and Skyway Drive, as therein set out, have
petitioned for the construction of said improvement and that the cost
thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of said district
according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot and
parcel of real property situated in said district equals or exceeds the
local assessment thereof* and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $12,154.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rook, Arkansass
SECTION 1. That said several blocks, lots and parcels of real
property in said district be assessed according to the assessment list
for said improvement district as the same now remains in the office of
the City Clerk, and that Six and Two- Thirds per centum (6 -2/3 %) of the
assessment of each said blocks, lots, and parcels shall be collected by
the County Collector with the first installment of the general taxes
becoming due in 1959, and Six and Two- Thirds per centum (6 -2/3 %) of the
assessment shall be collected annually thereafter with the first install-
meat of the general taxes until the whole of said local assessment shall
be paid.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full farce
and effect from and after its passage.
